Marc Beaumont
After almost 23 years involved in litigation as a practising barrister, Marc regards dispute resolution without Mediation as hollow and two-dimensional. He has broad experience of business, commercial and property related litigation. He has appeared as an advocate in courts at every level of the justice system, including the High Court, Court of Appeal and the House of Lords.
Marc is a senior Barrister, the Chairman of the Public Access Bar Association and an elected member of the General Council of the Bar. He has Chambers in Windsor and Lincoln's Inn.
He conducts psychotherapeutically based mediations from his rooms in Windsor and London, although he will conduct mediations elsewhere by arrangement.
His approach is to recognise that all disputes are underpinned by strong emotions. His training assists the parties to express and release these emotions, thereby enabling them to move on to consider a more pragmatic approach to the dispute. Marc's style is one of comfortable and conversational informality against a backdrop of an acute awareness of the perils of litigation.
