Martyn Liberson

Solicitor of 15 years qualification and an ADR Group accredited mediator since 1999. In 1997 Martyn became a partner in the Commercial Dispute Resolution Department of Lee Crowder, Solicitors in Birmingham, now merged with Cobbetts; and from December 2006 has been a partner at Clarke Willmott in Birmingham. He is on the Mediation Panel of the Property Litigation Association and the Association of Midlands Mediators, and has written in the Estates Gazette about the use of mediation in property disputes.

Martyn acts for public and private companies, charities, trusts, housing associations, insolvency practitioners and individuals all with property issues.

He is regularly involved in all aspects of leasehold disputes including dilapidations, lease renewals, the withholding of consent to assign and service charge disputes. He also handles disputes involving property contracts, rights of light, rights of way, rights of support, covenants, nuisance, and trespass. Additionally he conducts some commercial litigation and property related professional negligence/breach of contract claims against solicitors, surveyors, architects and engineers.

Martyn frequently has cases resolved by mediation and has sat as mediator on many occasions.
