Gary was a practising barrister for over 22 years. He now practises as an independent mediator (accredited by the ADR Group).
Gary is a specialist in property law. He has extensive experience, both in practice as a barrister and as a mediator, in landlord and tenant work, both commercial and residential, boundaries and easements, restrictive covenants, constructive trusts and other areas of property law.
He is the author of Business Premises: Possession and Lease Renewal, 3ed and co-author of Residential Possession Proceedings, 7ed (Sweet & Maxwell). He writes regularly for legal journals and is frequently asked to speak at conferences on property subjects.
He also runs training courses in various areas of property law and maintains this website. He is an associate member of chambers at 33 Bedford Row, London and sits as a Deputy District Judge.
Gary is based in Bath but mediates everywhere in the country.
